Hull City's Mohamed Diame to miss rest of the season as he requires knee surgery

Hull City's Mohamed Diame will miss the rest of the season as he requires knee surgery.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that Mohamed Diame will be unavailable for the rest of the season as he requires knee surgery.

The midfielder has been absent for around four months due to frustrating injury problems, but it appears as though he has suffered another setback.

Bruce revealed in this morning's press conference that Diame will go under the knife next week, which means that he is forced to miss his side's crucial final three games of the campaign.

The Tigers, who are just one point above the relegation zone, face a clash against Burnley this weekend.
