Huddersfield Town announce David Moss departure

Huddersfield Town announce that head of operations David Moss has left the club just five months after his arrival from Celtic.

Huddersfield Town have announced that head of operations David Moss has left the club just five months after his appointment.

The Yorkshireman replaced Stuart Webber - who had left for Norwich City - in the role in June after a seven-year stint at Celtic.

Moss's work at the John Smith's Stadium coincided with a bright start for the newly-promoted Terriers in the Premier League, culminating in a 2-1 win over Manchester United.

However, Huddersfield have now revealed that the ex-Swindon Town player has left the club by mutual consent after just 145 days in the job.

A club statement read: "Huddersfield Town can today confirm that head of football operations David Moss has vacated his role at the club by mutual consent.

"The club will now begin the search for a new head of football operations. Everyone at Huddersfield Town would like to wish David all the best in his future endeavours."

Huddersfield have recruited 13 players since Moss's appointment.
