Hibernian agree a deal to sign former Chelsea and Carlisle United youngster Tom Taiwo.

Hibernian have a agreed a deal to sign former Chelsea youngster Tom Taiwo.

The 22-year-old is currently finalising a two-year contract at Easter Road after being released by Carlisle United over the summer.

"We've brought him in to go and play," said Hibs manager Pat Fenlon. "He's a good player. He's good on the ball. He gets it and he moves things quickly and keeps it simple.

"He has a fantastic attitude and we're delighted to get him in."

Third-placed Hibernian continue their Scottish Premier League campaign at home to Kilmarnock on Saturday.
