Granada have suspended forward David Barral due to 'the gravity of the incident' that occurred at the Spanish club's training ground earlier this week.
Full details of the incident have not yet been released, but it has been widely reported that Barral threw a number of punches at teammate Isaac Cuenca after an argument during lunchtime at the training ground.
It is understood that the two players were eating together before Cuenca threw a class of water over Barral, which prompted the striker to launch a flurry of punches at his teammate.
Granada, in a club statement, have revealed that Barral has been suspended while the incident is investigated.
Granada are currently rooted to the bottom of La Liga - collecting just five points from their 12 league matches during a winless start to the 2016-17 campaign.
