Joachim Low names Germany's 22-man squad for their friendly with France in Bremen.

Joachim Low has selected twin brothers Lars and Sven Bender for Germany's squad ahead of the friendly with France on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old midfielders, who play for Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund respectively, will be looking to add to the four caps they have between them.

Germany will be without Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and Bastian Schweinsteiger, who are all sidelined with ankle injuries.

Arsenal target Mario Gotze has also been ruled out of the game at the Weserstadion with a hip problem.

Low has also opted against naming a third keeper in a squad that features only two foreign-based players, in Real Madrid pair Sami Kedira and Mesut Ozil.

Germany squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), Tim Wiese (Werder Bremen)

Defenders: Dennis Aogo (Hamburg), Holger Badstuber (Bayern Munich), Jerome Boateng (Bayern Munich), Benedikt Howedes (Schalke), Mats Hummels (Dortmund), Philipp Lahm (Bayern Munich), Marcel Schmelzer (Dortmund), Christian Trasch (Wolfsburg)

Midfielders: Lars Bender (Bayer Leverkusen), Sven Bender (Borussia Dortmund), Sami Khedira (Real Madrid), Toni Kroos (Bayern Munich), Thomas Müller (Bayern Munich), Mesut Özil (Real Madrid), Marco Reus (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Simon Rolfes (Bayer Leverkusen), André Schürrle (Bayer Leverkusen)

Strikers: Cacau (Stuttgart), Mario Gomez (Bayern Munich), Miroslav Klose (Lazio)
