Newcastle's Sports Direct Arena is the setting on Thursday for Gabon versus Switzerland in Group B of the men's Olympic football.

It is the first time in their history that Gabon are appearing at the Games, while the Swiss are making a return after an 84-year absence.

Didier Ovono, Bruno Ecuele Manga and Charly Moussono, who are Gabon's three over-age players, are all expected to start the match on Tyneside.

Meanwhile, Diego Benaglio, Fabian Frei and Fulham's Pajtim Kasami should feature for Switzerland.
