Mark Schwarzer says that he is prepared to leave Fulham in order to secure first-team football.

Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has admitted that he may have played his final game for the club as he has yet to agree a new contract at Craven Cottage.

The Australian's current deal with the Londoners expires in the summer, and he is keen to secure first-team football in order to earn selection for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The 40-year-old expressed that he is willing to leave Fulham should he not be their first-choice stopper.

"I'm out of contract and as of yet I have had no official offer of a new deal contrary to reports, so I may have played my last game for Fulham," Schwarzer told ESPN.

"I still have the hunger and desire to play at the highest level and my plan is to definitely play another year as I want to go to another World Cup.

"To do that I need to be playing regularly and if that means I need to go elsewhere then I will go elsewhere. I need to find a club that has faith in my abilities."

Schwarzer has been at Fulham for the past five years.
