Report: Fulham mull Clint Dempsey loan offer

Fulham are reportedly considering making a move to re-sign attacking midfielder Clint Dempsey on loan from the Seattle Sounders.

The 30-year-old scored 50 goals during 184 Premier League appearances for the Cottagers between January 2007 and August 2012.

USA international Dempsey left Tottenham Hotspur in the summer to return to his home country, but, according to the Daily Star, he could come back to England during the MLS off-season.

The newspaper claims that Fulham are interested in taking Dempsey on loan until March.

MLS duo Landon Donovan and Thierry Henry have both spent off-season loan spells in England in recent years.
