Fulham caretaker manager Kit Symons has praised the character of his team following their narrow success over Norwich City in the Championship.
The Cottagers earned a 1-0 victory at home on Saturday to make it three wins in their last four games.
Despite Fulham remaining in the relegation zone, Symons is hopeful that the club will look at him as a serious candidate for the role of permanent manager.
"It was a display full of character which I was delighted with," he told BBC Sport. "All the time I'm in situ in this position, I'll just keep doing what I do. That's working as hard as I can on the training pitch and trying to win games for this great football club.
"I'm pretty sure three points as often as possible is not going to hurt my chances. I'll just keep plugging away."
Fulham continue their Championship campaign on Tuesday night with a trip to Rotherham United.
