Rene Meulensteen linked with Feyenoord job

Rene Meulensteen could be appointed Feyenoord manager when Ronald Koeman leaves in the summer, a report says.

Rene Meulensteen could be in line for a return to management at Dutch club Feyenoord, according to a report.

The former Manchester United coach, who was replaced as Fulham manager by Felix Magath on Friday night, is reportedly keen on another management position.

That has created speculation that he could replace Ronald Koeman, who is set to leave Feyenoord at the end of the season, Football Direct News reports.

The club are apparently keen to appoint a Dutchman, and Meulensteen is likely to face competition from Patrick Kluivert and Danny Blind for the post.
