Fulham are reportedly bracing themselves for the potential departure of their manager Marco Silva, who is considering a lucrative offer from Al-Ahli.

Fulham have reportedly braced themselves for the potential departure of manager Marco Silva as he considers a contract offer from Al-Ahli.

Silva is in the USA for the club's pre-season tour, but it is unclear whether he will be in the Fulham dugout when the new campaign gets underway.

The Portuguese manager has entered the final 12 months of his contract, and he has held off from putting pen to paper on a new deal.

According to the Evening Standard, Silva has been presented with the chance to take over the reins at newly-promoted Al-Ahli.

The 46-year-old, who has a £6m release clause in his Fulham contract, has been offered a two-year deal worth around £40m.

With Silva said to be considering the offer, talkSPORT are reporting that the West London club are bracing themselves for his potential exit.

Should he decide to make the switch to Al-Ahli, Silva would take over a side that have recruited Edouard Mendy and Roberto Firmino this summer.

They are also on the verge of signing Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City after reaching an agreement over a £34.7m transfer.

After being appointed Fulham boss in the summer of 2021, Silva oversaw a successful first season in charge, guiding the club to promotion to the Premier League.

Silva continued to work his magic during the 2022-23 campaign, as Fulham picked up 52 points to finish in the top half of the Premier League table.

In addition to their manager, Fulham are also at risk of losing their main star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, who is wanted by Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

The Cottagers have already knocked back two bids and are determined to retain Mitrovic's services, but the player has indicated that he wants to join Al-Hilal after being offered a lucrative deal.
