Samir Nasri left out of France's 23-man squad and reserves

Manchester City's Samir Nasri misses out on a place in France's 23-man squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

Didier Deschamps has revealed his 23-man squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil, as well as seven replacements.

Manchester City's Samir Nasri is among the players left out of the squad, along with club teammate Gael Clichy.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is one of three keepers included, while three Arsenal players have been selected, including striker Olivier Giroud.

Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, who spent the season on loan at Newcastle United, and Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery are among the other forwards chosen.

Just eight of the 23 play their club football in France, but Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin is the only replacement from a club that does not compete in Ligue 1.
