Manchester United defender Patrice Evra remains confident of success at Euro 2012 despite their sluggish performance against Iceland.
France came back from two goals down to beat Iceland 3-2 on Sunday, with Evra at fault for both goals from the visitors.
"We must not be too hard on ourselves," Evra told L'Equipe.
"After one match, you cannot know exactly what you need to do to improve. The second match is different, the third as well.
"You can play very well in your warm-up games and lose the first match at the Euros. It is June 11 we must be ready for."
France are in Group D alongside England, Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine.
