Khouma Babacar is on the verge of signing a new deal at Serie A side Fiorentina, according to reports.
The 22-year-old's current deal is due to expire next season, though he has insisted that he wishes to remain with the club.
After spending several seasons out on loan, the striker has made himself a firm part of Vincenzo Montella's side this year, and he will be rewarded with a new contract, reports La Nazione.
Babacar, who has six caps for Senegal's Under-20 side, has scored nine goals in all competitions this season.
