Fiorentina communications director Gianfranco Teotino says that Stevan Jovetic will not leave the Italian club this summer.

Fiorentina communications director Gianfranco Teotino has insisted that Stevan Jovetic will not leave the Italian club.

The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus this summer, but Teotino has rejected claims that the Montenegro international will be allowed to leave.

"I think that Stevan will stay with us and that the squad will be built around him to entertain the fans," he told reporters.

"There is a lot of confidence and we want the player to be part of our project for the next year. We want to qualify for the Champions League with him being part of the project."

Jovetic scored 14 league goals for Fiorentina last season.
