Nacer Chadli plays down Juventus link

Belgian midfielder Nacer Chadli has poured scorn on rumours of a summer move to Juventus, insisting that he has no agreement in place with the Serie A champions.

Chadli has attracted interest from a string of European clubs with his performances for Dutch side FC Twente in recent seasons, including Premier League outfit Fulham.

Despite persistent links with Juve, the winger has declared that a summer exit is not secured and is adamant that he has had no contact with coach Antonio Conte.

He told Voetball International: "I do not know anything about [the rumours]. Juventus are of course a very nice club, though Serie A is no longer what it used to be.

"Juventus, Inter and AC Milan are the only three real clubs at present. There is interest from more clubs, but for now I'm focusing first on the [Europa League] playoffs with Twente and internationals with Belgium.

"Only when I'm on holiday, will I think about a decision. I therefore won't rule out staying another year at Twente."

The 23-year-old has 11 caps for Belgium and has amassed more than 100 senior appearances at club level for Twente, scoring 35 goals.
