John Stones 'tells Everton he wants to leave'

A report claims that John Stones has informed Everton of his desire to leave Goodison Park in this summer's transfer window.

John Stones has reportedly informed Everton that he wants to leave the Merseyside club this summer.

The 22-year-old is believed to be one of the most in-demand centre-backs in European football, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City all credited with an interest in the England international.

According to The Express, Stones has told Everton that he wants to leave Goodison Park in this transfer window and Man City are currently the frontrunners for the ball-playing defender.

Stones, who joined Everton from Barnsley in 2013, is said to be valued in the region of £50m.
