Everton striker Nikica Jelavic has insisted that manager Roberto Martinez can count on him in the Premier League after an impressive performance in the FA Cup.
Jelavic was given a rare start in the 4-0 win over Queens Park Rangers and repaid Martinez with a two-goal performance.
The Croatia international has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park in January, but he insists that he is ready to be given a chance for the Toffees.
"It's been difficult. But Romelu [Lukaku] is on fire - I'm delighted for him if I'm being honest," Jelavic told the club's official website.
"I'm training hard and every day I have been waiting for my chance. Now the manager saw that he can count on me as well, so we will see.
"We will see in the end but I hope he is going to give me more chances. I have played 90 minutes so I enjoyed every minute on the pitch."
Jelavic joined Everton from Rangers in 2012.
