Everton to sign Argentinian striker on loan

Everton are to sign Argentinian striker Denis Stracqualursi on a season-long loan.

Everton are poised to sign Denis Stracqualursi on a season-long loan from Argentinian club Tigre.

The 23-year-old scored 22 goals in 35 appearances in the Primera Division in Argentina, topping the league's scoring charts.

He has reportedly been linked with Espanyol, Fiorentina and a number of German clubs this summer, but his agent Jorge Cysterzpiller is believed to have agreed terms with Everton.

If he does complete a move to Goodison Park, Stracqualursi will become Everton's first summer signing.
