Everton to keep scouting Michael Keane?

Everton are keeping their eye on Burnley defender Michael Keane, according to reports.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has reportedly asked his scouts to monitor the progress of Burnley defender Michael Keane.

The Toffees expect Chelsea to reignite their interest in England international John Stones in January and according to The Sun, Martinez wants to make sure the former Manchester United defender will be an ideal replacement.

The 22-year-old is highly regarded at Burnley and it is believed that Sean Dyche will hold out for a bid of at least £10m for the centre-back.

Keane has made nine appearances so far this season in the Championship, scoring three goals.
