Everton considering move for Borussia Monchengladbach's Denis Zakaria?

Everton are reportedly keen on signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria, who was part of Switzerland's squad for the World Cup.

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Everton.

New Toffees boss Marco Silva is yet to make any first-team signings this summer, but Richarlison is expected to move to Goodison Park in a £50m deal.

According to The Mirror, Silva is looking to add more young talent to his first-team squad in the form of Zakaria, who has just spent time at the World Cup with Switzerland.

The 21-year-old is only 12 months into a five-year contract, but Silva is seemingly prepared to spend big in order to land the holding midfielder ahead of the new campaign.

Zakaria netted two goals in 30 appearances during his first season in the Bundesliga.
