Cambridge United confirm Ryan Ledson loan

Cambridge United confirm that England Under-19 international Ryan Ledson has joined the League Two side on loan from Everton.

Cambridge United have announced that Ryan Ledson has joined the club on loan from Everton until January 3.

The 18-year-old midfielder, who has been in action with the England Under-19s during this month's international break, will be in the League Two side's squad for their match against Accrington Stanley tomorrow.

Cambridge manager Shaun Derry said: "I feel we have acquired the services of one of the brightest young talents in English football.

"Ryan is clearly willing to take his career to the next level by joining Cambridge United, where he will have the opportunity to play his first league matches.

"I would like to place on record my huge gratitude to Everton Football Club for making this loan deal possible."

Ledson made his debut for Everton last season in their Europa League tie against FC Krasnodar at Goodison Park.
