Everton boss Roberto Martinez refuses to place blame for poor form

Everton manager Roberto Martinez refuses to blame anyone for the team's poor form.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has insisted that he does not blame anyone for the team's poor form.

The Merseyside outfit are currently 14th in the Premier League table after winning just one of their last six top-flight games.

The Toffees have the chance of FA Cup glory as they are in the semi-finals, but that has not stopped criticism being sent their way.

"There is no such thing as blame," Martinez told reporters in Tuesday's press conference. "We haven't been able to manage games well enough, we haven't preserved leads and we've thrown games away.

"Our consistency away from home hasn't been repeated at home. We haven't got the amount of points our performances have deserved but that's something we have to address and improve."

Everton will face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday.
