Phil Neville hails "great win"

Phil Neville hails a huge result for Everton after they come back from a goal down to beat Sunderland at Goodison Park.

Phil Neville has praised the strength of character in Everton's squad after they came from behind to beat Sunderland today.

The Toffees trailed at half-time thanks to a goal from Adam Johnson but responded to take all three points late on.

Goals from Marouane Fellaini and Nikica Jelavic sent Everton back into the top four, much to Neville's delight.

He tweeted: "Great win today. We persevered, rode our luck at times but kept going.

"We showed lots of determination, love it when Jelavic scores!"

Victory over the Black Cats maintains Everton's unbeaten record at Goodison Park this season.
