Leighton Baines and Leon Osman are among five players who have been ruled out of Everton's trip to Young Boys in the last 32 of the Europa League.
Aiden McGeady, Steven Pienaar and Arouna Kone have also not travelled with the squad to Switzerland for the first leg of the tie.
Meanwhile, January loan signing Aaron Lennon is ineligible after appearing in the competition for parent club Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season.
