Former England striker Alan Smith believes that the Three Lions defence is still a cause for concern.
Roy Hodgson's side maintained their perfect record in Euro 2016 qualifying with a 3-2 victory away to Slovenia on Sunday.
Smith says that while England have improved offensively since last year's World Cup, there is still work to be done on the back four.
"In Brazil last year we were found wanting at the back, we weren't quite good enough, and nothing has changed in that regard," Smith told Sky Sports News.
"There were a lot of good things, a lot of positive things to talk about going forward but we really need to get that back four sorted out and I'm sure that's what is at the forefront of Roy Hodgson's mind at the moment."
England have now gone a full season unbeaten for the first time since the 1990-91 campaign.
