Sunday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Napoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs. Napoli.

Empoli vs. Inter Milan (Sunday, 11.30am)

After the glory of reaching the Champions League semi-finals, Inter Milan must return to Serie A duty on Sunday, when they require points against Empoli to rescue hopes of a top-four finish.

Setting up a continental clash with city rivals Milan certainly gives the Nerazzurri faithful something to look forward to, but following the reversal of a points deduction for Juventus they will sit sixth in the standings upon arrival at Stadio Carlo Castellani.

We say: Empoli 0-1 Inter Milan

With an eye on Wednesday's Coppa Italia tie and wearied by their Champions League exertions, Inter could be considered vulnerable to yet another league loss. However, they have recently ruled supreme at the Castellani and Empoli's lack of a goal threat will play straight into their hands.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Udinese vs. Cremonese (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Mid-table Udinese welcome Cremonese to the Stadio Friuli in Sunday's round 31 match in Serie A.

The Udine outfit have little to play for in the remainder of the season, but Cremonese continue to battle for survival in the league in the final weeks of 2022-23.

We say: Udinese 2-2 Cremonese

Despite going unbeaten in their last five games at the Friuli, Udinese have played out four score draws on their turf.

Against a Cremonese side that have scored in five of their last six away games — netting two goals in three of those fixtures — another high-scoring encounter could be in the offing.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Monza vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Following their remarkable European exploits in midweek, Fiorentina aim to continue some fine Serie A form on Sunday, when they visit mid-table Monza.

A dramatic late recovery in Florence saw Vincenzo Italiano's team through to the Europa Conference League semi-finals, and though defeat on the night ended an eight-match unbeaten streak they now travel to Lombardy on a high.

We say: Monza 1-1 Fiorentina

Both teams are enjoying some good form, even if Monza's achievements have been more modest by comparison, but the effects of a long continental campaign could finally be catching up with Fiorentina. With their priorities now lying in the cups, Sunday's visitors are set to take their eye off the ball and drop points once again.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

AC Milan vs. Lecce (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Having sealed their place in the Champions League semi-finals this week, AC Milan aim to get back on track in Serie A on Sunday, when they host lowly Lecce at San Siro.

Setting up a tantalising continental clash with city rivals Inter, the Rossoneri edged out Napoli to progress, but they are still struggling to secure a top-four finish domestically; Lecce, meanwhile, last tasted victory in February.

We say: AC Milan 1-0 Lecce

With four league games to play before tackling Inter in the first leg of their Champions League semi, Milan must focus on salvaging a top-four finish amid stiff competition. Goals have not always flowed freely in recent weeks, but the Rossoneri should have enough left in the tank to see off an ailing Lecce side.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Juventus vs. Napoli (Sunday, 7.45pm)

At the end of a tumultuous week for both clubs, Juventus and Napoli meet in Turin on Sunday, with the huge gulf between them in the Serie A standings having been suddenly reduced.

While Juve's points deduction was overturned on appeal and they then progressed in the Europa League, their southern rivals slipped out of the Champions League and are enduring their first real downturn of an incredible campaign.

We say: Juventus 1-0 Napoli

Juventus and Napoli are among the most secure sides in Europe's top five leagues this season - only Barcelona and Lazio have posted more clean sheets. After a six-goal game between the teams earlier this year it should be a tighter affair in Turin, where momentum will be on Juve's side and their visitors' confidence continues to ebb away.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
