Dundee have submitted an appeal against Kenny Miller's Ibrox dismissal.
The striker was shown a straight red card by Kevin Clancy following a late tackle on Borna Barisic as Dundee lost 4-0 against Rangers on Saturday.
A Dundee statement read: "The club can confirm we have submitted an appeal to the SFA for the red card given to Kenny Miller during the Ladbrokes Premiership match against Rangers on Saturday. The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday."
Miller had already been booked for an aerial challenge which left former Rangers team-mate Andy Halliday with a broken nose, so he will still miss Saturday's visit of Hibernian if his second card is downgraded to yellow.
The 38-year-old will also miss a trip to Hamilton if the judicial panel upholds Clancy's verdict that his tackle was serious foul play.
