Jackie McNamara has been sacked by Dundee United.
The former Scotland player has led United to just five wins from the last 28 matches, and met with chairman Stephen Thompson after their 2-1 defeat to ten-man St Johnstone on Saturday.
McNamara joined United in January 2013 and led the club to two top-five finishes, but they have picked up just five points from the opening nine matches this season.
United had gone in front against St Johnstone thanks to a Billy McKay penalty, but second-half goals from Graham Cummins and Simon Lappin condemned them to another defeat.
