Richie Wellens to leave Doncaster Rovers?

A report claims that Richie Wellens could leave Doncaster Rovers less than one month after joining the Championship club.

Richie Wellens could reportedly leave Doncaster Rovers less than one month after joining the Championship club on a free transfer.

The 33-year-old has started all four games for Paul Dickov's side this season, but according to Sky Sports News, he is keen to depart the Keepmoat Stadium.

The midfielder is hoping to secure a release by mutual consent, but it is unclear at this point whether Doncaster are prepared to sanction his move.

It is understood that Wellens, who departed Leicester City at the end of last season, has already held talks with possible suitors.
