Denmark manager Morten Olsen praises his side's level of performance following their 1-0 Euro 2012 win over the Netherlands.

Denmark manager Morten Olsen was full of praise for his side following their shock Euro 2012 victory over the Netherlands.

Michael Krohn-Dehli's first-half strike against the run of play was enough to give the Danes a famous 1-0 win, despite their opponents having 32 attempts at goal.

Olsen said: "If you want to beat one of these teams, you need to play at a high level.

"We needed a good team performance and that's what happened. Of course, the Dutch had a lot of chances, but so did we.

"The most important thing was that we trusted our own way of playing football, which is very important against a team like Holland. It showed how and why we qualified for this tournament."

Denmark are now unbeaten in their last eight competitive international fixtures.
