Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis expects goals from Fraizer Campbell

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis is confident that new signing Fraizer Campbell will boost his side's attacking prowess this season.

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has backed new signing Fraizer Campbell to be among the goals this season.

The striker, 26, joined Palace from Cardiff City on a three-year deal last week.

With the Eagles having struggled to score regularly during the 2013-14 campaign, Pulis is expecting Campbell to boost his team's attacking prowess this year.

"We need goals and people who can put the ball in the back of the net. It's an area we need to improve so we're pleased to sign Fraizer," the Welshman is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Campbell scored nine goals in 40 appearances for Cardiff last season.
