Crystal Palace striker Kevin Phillips reveals that he wants to continue playing next season.

Crystal Palace striker Kevin Phillips has revealed that he wants to continue playing next season.

The 39-year-old will be out of contract this summer after joining the Eagles on a short-term deal in January.

Phillips, who could feature when Palace face Watford in the Championship playoff final on May 27, is hoping to play on for at least another season.

"If we go up, if something is offered to me, I'll seriously consider it," Phillips told Sky Sports News.

"I'd imagine that I'll be playing for one more year, without a shadow of a doubt.

"I feel good. I think I've certainly shown this year that I can do a job coming off the bench."

Phillips has scored six goals in 14 appearances for Palace.
