Crystal Palace will be looking to set a club record in the Premier League when they face Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles are enjoying a relatively positive campaign during 2022-23, collecting 13 points from their opening 11 matches in the top flight.
However, Patrick Vieira's side have failed to record back-to-back victories all season, while they suffered a surprise 3-0 defeat at Everton last time out.
On a more positive note, Palace are four points clear of the relegation zone with a game in hand as they prepare to face opponents who are one point adrift of them in the standings.
The Saints make the trip to Selhurst Park aware that Palace have come from behind to defeat Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers in their last two home fixtures.
Furthermore, Southampton head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl will not have forgotten how his side blew a lead to lose 2-1 to Palace at St Mary's back in April.

Nevertheless, despite Palace being the clear favourites to prevail in front of their own supporters, they will need to break a club record in the Premier League to live up to that billing.
Since the start of the division in 1992, Palace have never registered successive wins over Southampton in the top flight, a streak lasting 26 matches.
While Palace did post two victories in quick succession against Southampton between December 2015 and January 2016, the second of those wins came in the FA Cup.
In sharp contrast, Palace can be encouraged by Southampton looking to avoid conceding at least two goals in an away fixture in London for the 10th game in succession.
Although Palace have overturned deficits to win their last two matches at Selhurst Park, Southampton have already collected eight points from losing positions themselves since the start of the campaign.
