Crawley Town sign Port Vale striker Gavin Tomlin

League One side Crawley Town sign Port Vale striker Gavin Tomlin for an undisclosed fee.

League One side Crawley Town have signed Port Vale striker Gavin Tomlin for an undisclosed fee.

The 30-year-old scored six times in 28 appearances for Port Vale last season, after joining from Southend.

"I have always admired Gavin," Reds boss John Gregory told the club website.

"He is a striker first and foremost with a good goalscoring record during his career but he can also play in midfield or out wide."

Tomlin began his career playing non-league football and has gone on to play for 13 different clubs during his career.
