Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has reportedly turned down a contract offer at the Blues, instead pushing for a move to former loan club AC Milan this summer.
The 26-year-old has not featured for the London club since 2018, spending his last three years on loan with Inter Milan, Monaco and Napoli.
Most recently, the Frenchman started 23 of Napoli's 38 Serie A games as they finished fifth in the Italian top flight in 2020-21, while also featuring as a substitute in nine of those matches.
Bakayoko played 2,300 minutes of league football in AC Milan's 2018-19 Serie A campaign, while also starting six Europa League games.
Despite failing to break into the side since arriving in London in 2017, Chelsea tabled a new contract offer for the midfielder, with his current deal entering its final year.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Bakayoko's agent has confirmed he will not be re-signing with the Blues, instead opting to end his Chelsea spell in favour of a return to the Rossoneri this summer.
Such a move would see him link up with former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori, who recently signed a permanent deal in Milan after spending the 2020-21 campaign on loan at San Siro.
