Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in securing a deal for Everton winger Anthony Gordon during the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly contemplating whether to make a formal approach for Everton winger Anthony Gordon.

Head coach Antonio Conte has already been proactive in the transfer market this summer, bringing in three fresh faces on the back of securing Champions League football for next season.

Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster were signed on free transfers before Spurs agreed to pay £25m to bring in Yves Bissouma from Brighton & Hove Albion.

However, Conte still intends to make several more additions, including in the final third where it is deemed that more competition for places is required.

According to the Daily Mail, the Italian has been left impressed by the performances of Gordon, who helped keep Everton in the Premier League during the closing weeks of the campaign.

Although the youngster only contributed four goals and two assists in 35 top-flight outings, his energy from the flank played a key role in the Toffees' survival.

Frank Lampard will also be against losing a homegrown player who holds an important position in his squad, but Everton are also under pressure to improve their position with FFP.

Over the weekend, The Athletic claimed that would need to occur before Thursday, although Everton do have alternatives when it comes to raising funds.

The same outlets have also suggested that Richarlison is on the radar of Spurs, the Brazilian open to the transfer in order to play in European football's premier competition.

While Richarlison is valued higher than Gordon, the versatile attacker's contract is due to expire in 2024 and there is no desire to extend his terms at Goodison Park.

Although it is unclear whether Spurs have officially stepped up their interest in the player, they are likely to press forward in light of competition from elsewhere.

Chelsea are said to be eyeing up a deal for the 25-year-old at a time when Thomas Tuchel wants to make sweeping changes to his squad.

However, Richarlison is said to have already told friends that he is interested in signing for Spurs, a development which would seemingly make the North Londoners favourites at this stage.
