Maurizio Sarri will reportedly attempt to bring Chelsea midfielder Jorginho back to Napoli if the experienced manager returns to the Italian giants as head coach.
Gennaro Gattuso's future as manager of Gli Azzurri continues to be called into question, and Sarri - out of work since leaving Juventus - is thought to be open to a return to the club.
According to Rai Sport, the 62-year-old has already been in contact with president Aurelio De Laurentiis over a return to the team that he managed between June 2015 and May 2018.
The report claims that Sarri would want Jorginho to follow him back to Naples during this summer's transfer window.
The Italy international, who joined his former manager at Chelsea, has been a key player for the Blues since Thomas Tuchel's arrival as head coach at the end of January.
The 29-year-old continues to be linked with a return to Italy, though, and his agent recently suggested that the midfielder could be interested in moving back to Stadio San Paolo.
