A number of Inter Milan players may reportedly consider their futures if Romelu Lukaku is confirmed as a Chelsea player in the coming days.

A number of Inter Milan's senior players are reportedly contemplating their long-term futures at San Siro.

Despite having won the Serie A title last season, the potential departure of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea could have ramifications for the remainder of Simone Inzaghi's preparations for the new campaign.

According to the Daily Mail, some of their other star men, including Lautaro Martinez, may think twice about penning a new contract.

With the Argentine having just two years remaining on his deal, Tottenham Hotspur are said to be monitoring the situation ahead of Harry Kane's possible exit.

Marcelo Brozovic, a key member of the midfield, has less than 12 months left on his existing terms, leaving the Inter hierarchy with a tougher battle when it comes to renewing his contract.

The report suggests that Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar and Nicolo Barella may also be prepared to have second thoughts about the current directions of their careers.
