Roma expect Radja Nainggolan to resist Chelsea interest

Roma manager Luciano Spalletti expects Radja Nainggolan to resist Chelsea interest and stay at the Serie A club.

Roma manager Luciano Spalletti has claimed that he expects Radja Nainggolan to stay at the club, despite interest from Chelsea.

The 28-year-old Belgium international recently claimed that he would consider an offer from Chelsea, but insisted that he is "happy" at Roma.

From Spalletti's point of view, Nainggolan will remain a Roma player next season.

"I think he stays with us," the Daily Mail quotes Spalletti as saying. "He is a man of his word and promised. He seemed enthusiastic about continuing to give us his contribution next season."

Nainggolan joined Roma from Cagliari in 2014.
