Report: Cesc Fabregas to leave Chelsea in summer

A report claims that Chelsea will allow unsettled midfielder Cesc Fabregas to seek pastures new at the end of the season.

Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas will reportedly leave Chelsea next summer.

The 28-year-old joined the Blues from Barcelona in 2014 and played a key role in their Premier League title success last season.

The central midfielder has struggled to make his mark this season, however, and his relationship with the Chelsea supporters has suffered following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

According to Corrierre dello Sport, Chelsea are prepared to let the Spain international leave next summer and he is not short of suitors, with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus all in the running.

Fabregas has also been linked with a surprise move to Real Madrid in a deal that would cause waves at Barcelona.

Despite Fabregas's close ties with Barcelona, he had a fractured relationship with the club's supporters during the latter stages of his time at Camp Nou, and it is understood that he would be open to moving to the Bernabeu ahead of Euro 2016.

The former Arsenal youngster is expected to miss Chelsea's Premier League clash against Manchester United on Monday with a fever.
