Report: Atletico Madrid eye Eduardo from Chelsea

A report claims that Chelsea goalkeeper Eduardo is a January transfer target for Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Eduardo next month.

The Portuguese joined Chelsea from Dinamo Zagreb on a one-year contract in the summer, but the stopper is third choice at Stamford Bridge and is yet to make a single appearance for the Premier League outfit.

Atletico are seeking a new goalkeeper after losing number one Jan Oblak to a long-term shoulder problem and according to TMW, the Spanish outfit have been in contact with Chelsea over the 34-year-old.

Eduardo, who has earned 36 caps for the Portugal national team, started his professional career with Braga before joining Genoa, where he spent four years.
