Lucas Piazon joins Fulham on loan

Chelsea forward Lucas Piazon moves to Fulham on a loan deal until January.

Chelsea forward Lucas Piazon has joined Championship side Fulham on a loan deal until January 15.

The 22-year-old Brazilian spent the majority of last season on loan at second-tier Reading, where he made 23 league appearances, scoring three times.

Piazon moved to the Blues from hometown club Sao Paulo in 2011 and has also had loan spells across Europe with the likes of Malaga, Vitesse and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Cottagers have got off to a strong start to the new Championship season and sit second in the table after three wins and two draws from their opening five fixtures.

Piazon could make his debut for his new club when Fulham welcome Birmingham City to Craven Cottage after the international break on September 10.
