Lens sporting director Antoine Sibierski has confirmed Chelsea's reported interest in signing Eden Hazard's younger brother Thorgan.
The Premier League outfit completed the addition of Eden from French club Lille for a fee of £32m earlier this summer.
Reports have since claimed that the Blues are now keen to acquire the services of the younger Hazard sibling.
While expressing his desire to keep the young Belgian at Lens, Sibierski has conceded that it would be hard for any player in his situation to reject a move to Chelsea.
"I've known Thorgan since I arrived at Lens," Sibierski told La Voix du Nord. "Thorgan is a very good player and I want to keep him. There is a year left on his contract. Last week I met him to discuss an extension for three seasons.
"I've since learned that Chelsea are interested in his possible arrival. I can understand why a player would want to leave Ligue 2 to go to Chelsea. We're in discussions.
"Now, like in every transfer with a year left on his contract, it must be paid for. There are also compensation fees for training him."
19-year-old Thorgan has made 11 appearances for the Lens senior side.
