Frank Lampard has reportedly requested that Chelsea accept the contract demands of Willian as soon as possible.
Despite a hugely-successful six-and-a-half-year period at Stamford Bridge, Willian has less than six months remaining on his contract.
While the 31-year-old has expressed a desire to remain in West London, club officials are yet to budge with regards to his preferred terms.
However, given his importance to the squad, the Evening Standard claims that Lampard wants a positive resolution in the coming weeks.
The report adds that the Englishman has called for the Blues board to meet Willian's demands, aware that experienced players such as Pedro and Olivier Giroud are likely to leave in 2020.
The Brazilian has contributed five goals and five assists from 27 outings in the Premier League and Champions League this season.
