Jorginho acknowledges that Chelsea will miss Antonio Rudiger when the defender departs Stamford Bridge on a free transfer this summer.

Jorginho has acknowledged that Chelsea will miss Antonio Rudgier's "big personality" in the dressing room when he departs Stamford Bridge.

On Sunday evening, head coach Thomas Tuchel revealed that the Germany international had informed him of his desire to leave at the end of his contract in June.

The 29-year-old is expected to sign for Real Madrid, and speaking to Sky Sports News, Jorginho feels that Chelsea's loss will be Los Blancos' gain.

The Italian said: "He's been here a long time so if he leaves then we're going to miss him. He's a big personality and he's helped us a lot.

"We've had amazing times here; he's a good friend of mine and of course if he leaves everyone at the club will miss him, not just me."

Jorginho's future at Chelsea is also up in the air with just over 14 months remaining on his existing deal, and club officials are unable to enter discussions while a takeover remains weeks away from completion.
