Chelsea are reportedly keen to add Poland right-back Lukasz Piszczek to their squad this summer.
The Blues had previously been heavily linked with Gregory van der Wiel, who featured for the Dutch national team at Euro 2012.
However, his performances during the competition are believed to have made new Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo think twice about submitting an offer for the Ajax defender.
As a result, he has now turned his attention to Piszczek, who currently plays his club football for German champions Borussia Dortmund.
The 27-year-old is said to be valued in the region of £10m, according to talkSPORT.
