Chelsea reportedly sent scouts to watch Atalanta BC full-back Robin Gosens during a recent 5-0 victory over Parma in Serie A.

The German, who joined Atalanta in 2017, played a fundamental role in the club's march to Champions League football last season, making 36 appearances in all competitions.

Manager Frank Lampard is said to be keen on signing a full-back amid uncertainty over the futures of both Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Blues were in attendance to watch Gosens against Parma.

The 25-year-old, who has a strong attacking presence, scored a goal and set up another to crown an emphatic performance from Atalanta.
