Chelsea plan talks with Pachuca winger Jurgen Damm

Pachuca vice president Andres Fassi claims that Chelsea are interested in signing winger Jurgen Damm.

Chelsea have registered an interest in signing Pachuca winger Jurgen Damm.

Damm, who has dual nationality with Mexico and Germany, has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, but Pachuca vice president Andres Fassi has revealed that talks with Chelsea will take place in the near future.

Fassi told Medio Tiempo: "Yes, there is interest but we have to see how much they are interested.

"In principle, we have a sporting plan for Jurgen and we hope that he stays, but if something comes up from abroad, we have to take it into account and if it's serious, we have to respond. We will have news in the next 48 hours."

Due to his dual nationality, Damm would not require a work permit if he agreed to move to the Premier League.
