Chelsea will reportedly have to meet Jan Oblak's £109m release clause if they wish to sign the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper in the summer.

Chelsea reportedly have little chance of signing Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak for anything less than his release clause.

With the Blues seemingly keen to find a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, it has recently been suggested that they are targeting a deal for Oblak.

Although the Slovenia international is available for £109m, there have been claims that Chelsea would prefer to add Arrizabalaga to any proposal in order to lower the fee.

However, Goal claims that the Premier League outfit face paying the designated price in Oblak's contract.

While Diego Simeone wants to keep Oblak at Wanda Metropolitano, the 27-year-old may be open to taking on a new challenge in the future.

Oblak still has three years remaining on his deal with the La Liga giants.
